Let me know if you need any more information, and I appreciate your help. I love Tarkov, and I just wish it wasn't locked behind the silly launcher. I've been locked out 5 times just by opening and closing my launcher. There doesnt seem to be any option to choose install path or move it. I went to update the game and it just creates a folder called battlestate games on the root of my C drive and installs the launcher there. Upvote for sharing the solution my dude I have this problem too. I already had a working install of tarkov in games/tarkov. In the folder D:BattlestateGamesBsgLauncherTemp there was a file called BsgLauncher.0.5.0.402 After launching this file it proceeded to actually install the new launcher and it works fine now. Now with the login limiter, I cannot troubleshoot my launcher by myself. For some reason it didnt automatically update and install the new launcher. The most common way for me to get into the game is to open and close the launcher until everything works correctly.) Waited to see if it will just load (it does about 5% of the time. Reinstalled the launcher to a different drive on my computer From the profile page, click the button to Install the Battlestate Games Launcher. Reinstalled the game to a different drive on my computer Repaired and reinstalled all graphics drivers Which I'd say has about a 50% success rate. The only way I'm able to troubleshoot the launcher is by opening and closing it repeatedly until it works. It's in Russian, and most of the options don't appear, other than a few check boxes. Once you log into the profile of Battlestate Games Launcher, you can download the selected edition of Escape from Tarkov. Then open the Launcher and log into your profile with the same login credentials. The tabs at the top of the screen still work. After downloading Battlestate Games Launcher, install it by running its setup file and following the on-screen instructions. I have to manually close the launcher through task manager when it does this. The minimize, and exit buttons do not work. I also cannot move the window around my desktop. I'm also clicking the buttons at the bottom of the window. The top right corner of the launcher shows the login screen, which sometimes will show my username, and sometimes will show "connecting."Īs seen in this gif. Personally, this is how I have mine setup. It should be C:SPT-AKI or C:SP Tarkov or C:Whatever or D:SPT etc. I cannot click any buttons on the launcher, regarding "check for updates," and " Play." Half of the time I open the launcher the buttons don't even appear SPT cant be installed to the Desktop, and it shouldnt be anywhere in the BattleState Games directory either. I come to reddit hoping someone else has experienced this and found a fix. Hopefully this was helpful Also check me out on Twitch: /zerobbqHave an Amazing dayWhy cant I install the game on a drive other than my C:/ drive. I have tried everything in the responses to the forum post. The login limiter has single handedly stopped my ability to play EFT. While I did immediately hit my 144hz cap, it introduced an odd and oddly horrible frame stutter that made the game unplayable for me.Escape from Tarkov is a hardcore and realistic online first-person action RPG/Simulator with MMO features and a story-driven walkthrough currently in development by Battlestate Games. I prefer how the game looks with them on, and the FPS cost isn’t enough for these settings to matter to me. The three settings with the biggest performance hit in my testing were HBAO, SSR, and Anti-aliasing, costing me as many as five FPS as long as I had them enabled. Running the above settings on an offline Customs raid, I was able to get about 100-120 frames on the test rig listed at the beginning of the guide. My frames on Streets went from 20-35 to 100+ with this option selected, but I’ve heard anecdotal evidence that it actually costs higher-end rigs performance. Streets of Tarkov Lower Texture Resolution Mode: Probably checked. MIP Streaming: Unchecked (though I know some hardware configurations get some use out of this setting).
